How Brand Savvy are Tweens?

Wait....what's a tween?
Well, for the purposes of this study, covered on the Today Show last week, a tween is between the ages of 8 and 12. So, you might now be thinking...why the hell do we care what they think? They don't have any money to spend.
True.
But, their parents sure do and you better believe these small-fries have a major influence on what mom and dad are putting in that shopping cart. And by "major influence", I mean "40 billion dollars in spending power".
Check out these clips and let us know what you think.

I can’t believe those kids could tell you a brand by only hearing a few notes of their jingle. “name that tune” will never be the same! |
